EX2200 Ethernet Switches

EX2200 and EX2200-C Ethernet switches are low-power, low-acoustic 1RU devices designed for wiring closets and open office installations. They are an economical solution for low-density access business needs. The EX2200 offers 24 or 48 10/100/1000BASE-T port models; the EX2200-C offers 12 ports. Both models are available with or without 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) or 802.3at PoE+ for supporting networked devices. Both devices are scalable and can be deployed with Juniper’s Virtual Chassis technology connecting up to four EX2200 or EX2200-C switches as a single device. The switches easily connect to the backbone through front-panel Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports.

EX3200 Ethernet Switches

The EX3200 is a simple, cost-effective Ethernet switching solution for wiring closet installations in low-density branch and regional offices. Models offering 24 or 48 10/100/1000BASE-T ports, sufficient for most field office installations, are available. High-speed connections to the network backbone are made through optional, field-installable four-port Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) and two-port 10GbE uplink modules. Full or partial Power over Ethernet (PoE) options are available. EX3200 switches are field serviceable with fans and power supplies that are easily replaced by non-technical personnel.

EX3300 Ethernet Switches

EX3300 Ethernet switches are cost-effective enterprise access solutions for data center environments that support converged data, voice, and video. Models come with 24 or 48 10/100/1000BASE-T ports and four GbE/10GbE SFP/SFP+ uplink ports. The EX3300 switches support IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) or 802.3at PoE+. Optimized for the data center, the switches offer front-to-back and back-to-front cooling options, and can be configured with a DC power supply. Up to 10 EX3300 switches can be interconnected and operated as a single device using Juniper’s Virtual Chassis technology.

EX4200 Ethernet Switches

EX4200 Ethernet switches are compact, fixed-configuration access and aggregation solutions that deploy easily in top-of-rack or end-of-row data center configurations, or in campus installations. Juniper’s Virtual Chassis technology can be used to connect up to 10 EX4200 switches as a single, logical device, delivering a scalable solution perfect for growing campus installations. The EX4200 can also be combined with EX4500 and EX4550 switches in the same Virtual Chassis to support mixed 1GbE and 10GbE environments. The EX4200 switches support 10/100/1000BASE-T with both 24- and 48-port configurations and optionally include full or partial IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) or 802.3at PoE+. A 24-port 100BASE-FX/1000BASE-X SFP-based fiber configuration is available for gigabit aggregation in long-distance deployments. Available uplinks include four-port GbE or two-port 10GbE copper or fiber configurations, with and without MACsec capabilities.

EX4300 Ethernet Switches

EX4300 1GbE Ethernet switches are compact, fixed-configuration platforms that can be deployed as standalone systems or as part of a Virtual Chassis or Virtual Chassis Fabric switching architecture, satisfying a variety of high-performance branch, campus and data center access needs. Virtual Chassis technology enables any combination of up to 10 EX4300, QFX3500, QFX3600 or QFX5100 switches to be interconnected as a single, logical device that delivers a highly scalable, cost-effective solution for 1GbE or mixed 1GbE/10GbE/40GbE environments. The EX4300 can also be used in a QFX5100-based Virtual Chassis Fabric switching architecture, which enables up to 20 interconnected EX4300, QFX3500, QFX3600 and QFX5100 switches to operate as a low-latency, high-performance 1GbE/10GbE/40GbE data center fabric that is managed as a single device. The EX4300 line features 24- and 48-port 10/100/1000BASE-T models and a 32-port 100BASE-FX/1000BASE-X SFP model. On the fiber-based switches, four fixed front-panel uplink ports accommodate 1GbE or 10GbE optics for high-speed backbone or link aggregation connections. The four 40GBASE QSFP+ ports available on each model can also be used for high-speed backbone or link aggregation connections. Power over Ethernet (PoE)-enabled EX4300 models offer standards-based 802.3at PoE+, delivering up to 30 Watts on all ports for supporting high-density IP telephony, surveillance camera, or wireless access point deployments.

EX6200 Ethernet Switches

The EX6200 Ethernet switch is a scalable, resilient, high-performance wiring closet solution for campus deployments, or for end-of-row access in the data center. The flexible, 14RU, 10-slot chassis reserves two slots for holding redundant Switch Fabric Routing Engine (SRE) modules, while eight slots are dedicated for 48-port 10/100/1000BASE-T line cards. One redundant SRE can be replaced by an additional line card for higher port densities. Two line cards are available, one with and one without support for IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) and 802.3at PoE+. The EX6200 comes with additional Layer 2 and Layer 3 features in the base image, including IPv6 support*, Quality of Service (QoS), and great scalability for MAC and IP addresses.
